Carol was part of a group of financial institutions and foundations specializing in microcredits, and was the legal manager for a bank specializing in microcredits, with a presence in several cities in Ecuador.
Previously, she worked in two of the largest private financial institutions in the country as a legal advisor in Corporate, Business, Foreign and Personal Banking. She also supported the Administrative area in contracts with suppliers and in the creation of new products and services. In one of these, she was part of the team that structured the Credit Factory to improve service efficiency and security for the institution and its clients.
Carol was also part of the group that facilitated the first credit without a sovereign guarantee for the Public Metropolitan Company of Potable Water of Quito (EPMAPS), and created a fiduciary structure that provided security to the French Development Agency for granting the credit needed to build the first section of the Chalpi Grande Project.
Carol has also worked in the Trademark and Intellectual Property areas of different law firms in Ecuador, and has significant experience in fiduciary matters.
