Efrén provides legal consulting as part of the firm’s Customs Law and the Foreign Trade practices. He has more than 10 years of experience in litigation, and has acted as a customs lawyer in contentious tax and constitutional matters.
As a public servant, he held several positions in the National Customs Service of Ecuador (SENAE), including: Legal Director, Procedural Director, National Customs Legal Director and District Director, and implemented supervision processes, regulatory proposals and improvement policies in legal, logistics and customs procedures.
