Experience
Ernesto has studied and gained private practice experience in Ecuador, Brazil, the United States and Spain. In the local public sector, he was an advisor to the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, co-creating the first PPP department in the country over than a decade ago.
Ernesto also served as Deputy Director and acting National Legal Director for the Judicial Council, where he promoted initiatives for transparency in the legal profession and anti-corruption within the judiciary.
His experience includes collaborating with administrative contracting architecture and solutions, the proper use of public funds, participating in internal investigations and risk assessments. In addition, Ernesto has provided consulting to organizations and individuals in compliance and professional ethics.
Ernesto is an undergraduate and postgraduate university professor and is actively involved in anti-corruption initiatives.
