Gonzalo has led consulting projects in Internal Auditing and Control, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Criminal Compliance and Internal Investigations of Occupational Fraud for companies in various industries, such as mass consumption, pharmaceutical, healthcare, oil & gas, mining, telecommunications, airport services, entertainment, construction, education, prepaid medicine, port services, banana production and marketing.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a consulting manager in the Forensics & Integrity Services area, as well as a senior risk consultant for an international firm.
Gonzalo was also a senior auditor on the corporate Internal Auditing team of one of the largest economic groups in the country.
At CPA Consultores, he leads the design and implementation of Integrity and Compliance Systems, and actively participates in the management of criminal risk and occupational fraud; launching complaint channels; designing compliance controls; and providing preventive training on anti-corruption and money laundering
