Michelle was a lawyer in the Office of International Affairs and Arbitration of the State Attorney General’s Office and participated in several high-profile cases for Ecuador. In addition, she worked as a coach for the Leiden University team for the renowned international competition, Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Michelle focuses on the areas of Public Contracting, and Corporate and Civil Law, and provides comprehensive legal advice to large business groups in Ecuador.
She has significant experience in advising foreign investors on establishing their companies in the country, as well as fundamental restructuring and operational aspects.
Michelle also has extensive knowledge in the area of personal data protection through consulting and implementing the law in various companies that experience high data traffic.
