Pedro is a senior associate at Robalino Abogados and a member of the Natural Resources and Energy team. He has extensive knowledge in oil, administrative and environmental law.
Prior to joining the Firm, Pedro worked as Undersecretary of Hydrocarbons Contracting and Allocation of Areas. He also served as the Director of Hydrocarbons Assets and Promotion, and Director of Hydrocarbons Contracting and Negotiations. These positions were held in the Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources, which gave him extensive experience in projects in strategic sectors, as well as in negotiating oil contracts.
In the Oil & Gas area, he has participated directly in several oil rounds and prepared executive decrees and other regulations for the oil sector. Pedro also gave advice to the authorities on oil sale issues and dispute resolution in the administration of oil contracts.
