Veronica has significant knowledge in International Public and Private Law, especially in proceedings before the International Court of Justice and various dispute resolution forums regarding International Commercial Law.
For more than 15 years, Veronica formed part of one of Ecuador’s most renowned law firms. She has worked on international investment arbitration proceedings filed with the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
Veronica’s practice has also focused on providing legal advice and representation of local and international companies in different sectors, including tourism, energy, construction, banking, and pharmaceutical industries, among others, under different Ecuadorian laws, especially Labor, Business, Corporate and Intellectual Property law.
She has a wealth of experience in advising world-leading platforms on disruptive technologies. Her knowledge focuses on regulatory issues, regulatory adaptation, contracts and entering new markets.
