Through Informative Bulletin No. 104, the Ministry of Labor reported on the consensus reached between the Government, employers, and workers, establishing the new Unified Basic Salary for the year 2026.

The National Government, through the Ministry of Labor, informed that after a process of technical and constructive dialogue among representatives of the Government, employers, and workers, a consensus was reached to set the Unified Basic Salary (UBS) for 2026 at USD 482, representing an increase of USD 12 compared to the Unified Basic Salary for 2025.

The decision was adopted within the National Council of Labor and Wages, a tripartite body which, after a detailed analysis of economic, sectoral, and labor indicators, reached an agreement that, according to the Council, responds to criteria of economic responsibility, business sustainability, and the well-being of Ecuadorian workers.
