Enabling, within the Unified Labor System (SUT), of the Training and Awareness Actions Registry, pursuant to Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-006, which governs the implementation of the Equal Pay Law between Men and Women
Within the Unified Labor System (SUT) platform, the option intended to register the training and awareness activities required by Articles 3 and 4 of Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-006 is now available. These provisions establish the following obligations:
Continuous virtual, in-person, or blended trainings, with a minimum duration of 40 hours per year (which may be virtual, in-person, or blended), covering the following topics:
- Labor rights of women and men
- Gender equality
- Eradication of violence and discrimination at work
- Other topics related to the principle of work of equal value
These trainings must include the mandatory participation of the board of directors, the legal representative, or their delegates.
Institutional awareness through the execution of concrete and verifiable actions demonstrating that the organization promotes:
- The value of work from a gender-equality perspective
- The absence of discrimination in any form
- An organizational culture based on respect and equity
These actions must be addressed to all staff and are not limited to formal trainings; they may include internal campaigns, institutional communications, policies, protocols, best practices, or cultural initiatives.
The registration and reporting in the Unified Labor System (SUT) of both trainings and awareness actions constitute an employer obligation, and failure to comply will result in the application of the sanctions provided for under the applicable regulations.
