Through Resolution No. 2582, published in Official Gazette No. 5755 on May 7, 2026, the General Secretariat of the Andean Community (SGCAN) determined that the customs control service fee imposed by Ecuador on goods imported from Colombia constitutes a charge incompatible with the Cartagena Agreement.

Accordingly, the Secretariat ordered the withdrawal of the measure within ten business days, considering that it breaches Andean Community regulations.
