The Ministry of Labor reports that there is no specific deadline for the approval and registration of the Internal Protocol for the Prevention and Eradication of Labor Discrimination, Violence, and Harassment, and reminds employers of the obligation to update the Psychosocial Risk Prevention Program.
On the approval and registration of the Internal Protocol for the Prevention and Eradication of Labor Discrimination, Violence, and Harassment
The Ministry of Labor announced that although Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-0102 requires all employers to adapt their internal regulations and prepare an Internal Protocol for the Prevention and Eradication of Labor Discrimination, Violence, and Harassment, no specific deadline has been established for its approval and registration in the Unified Labor System (SUT).
However, employers are urged to have this document prepared promptly to ensure strict compliance with the provisions set forth in the aforementioned Ministerial Agreement.
The Ministry also indicated that the SUT has been enabled since November 4, 2025, allowing all employers to upload the required documentation for the approval and registration of the Internal Protocol, in accordance with the requirements and procedures established in Ministerial Agreement No. MDT-2025-0102.
Updating the Psychosocial Risk Prevention Program
The Ministry of Labor also reminded employers of the obligation to update their Psychosocial Risk Prevention Program, in compliance with current labor regulations and Ministerial Agreement MDT-2024-196, which establishes general workplace health and safety standards for public and private employers.
