Paulina is an associate in the M&A practice in Quito. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. Her background in law and finance allows her to analyze transactions from an integrated legal and commercial perspective.


Paulina is an associate in the M&A practice in Quito. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. Her background in law and finance allows her to analyze transactions from an integrated legal and commercial perspective.

She advises clients on corporate transactions and corporate matters, including due diligence processes, amendments to bylaws, share transfers, reorganizations, and corporate governance. She also participates in the review and negotiation of commercial contracts and in corporate compliance matters. Her practice is oriented toward identifying risks and translating complex legal issues into clear and actionable solutions for the business.

Before joining Robalino Abogados, Paulina developed experience in the public and private sectors. In the public sector, she held advisory and coordination positions, participating in legal and strategic projects of national scope.

Previously, she worked at Bustamante Fabara in the Energy and Mining practice and was a Litigation Fellow at the Ohio Innocence Project in the United States. These experiences strengthened her capacity for analysis, legal research, and management of complex matters in multidisciplinary environments.

She was an Editorial Assistant of Iuris Dictio, the law journal of Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She is the author of "El deber de mitigar daños en el Código de Comercio ecuatoriano" ("The Duty to Mitigate Damages in the Ecuadorian Commercial Code").
